Chrissie's Top Tip: You will need to allow each step to dry in between so that the colors do not flood together. They do not have to be fully dry, just crusted over. Make sure you are careful not to put pressure on any of your previous steps as you go. They may be dry to the gentle touch, but they will still be soft underneath. 1. On a piece of parchment paper, pipe hands for the duck and raindrops. Allow to dry in a dehydrator for an hour or overnight if you do not have a dehydrator. 2. Mark umbrella patterns on the cookies with an edible marker. I prefer to use a light color but have used black so it is easy to see in pictures. 3. Flood the first few spaces of light green, none that touch each other. When flooding areas, I outline first and then flood right away. I do not wait for the outline to dry and come back to it. I do it all in one go. 4. Flood the next spaces of light green. 5. Flood spaces of dark green and the brim of hat. 6. Flood remaining parts of the hat and the handle of the umbrella.
