DC casting of aluminium alloys - State of the art and new challenges

摘要

A report will be given on the current state of DC casting techniques for rolling ingots and extrusion billets, taking into account the quality of the as-cast structure, the geometry of the ingots and the safety and reproducibility of the casting process. In addition, modern tools for the optimisation and further development of the DC casting process will be presented and future development trends indicated.
