HOW CONFLICT RESOLUTION EMERGED WITHIN THE COMMERCIAL SECTOR

In November, CPR Senior Vice President F. Peter Phillips presented a paper—"Creation & Sustenance of ADR in the Commercial & Business Sector"—at the First African ADR Summit, a two-day international ADR conference in Abuja, Nigeria. The conference also marked the 10th anniversary of Nigeria's Negotiation and Conflict Management Group, a nongovernmental nonprofit organization that advocates ADR use in African courts and national conflicts.
