A study of the environmental, public health, and socio-economic effects that theoperation of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport – one of the fastest growing airportsin the country – has on nearby communities is slated to begin May 1.The results of the study must be reported to theWashington State Legislature,which ordered the study in legislation passed in March 2018 at the urging of communitiesnear Sea-Tac.
