Austrian business aviation specialist Jetalliance is to complete its acquisition of a 49% stake in Aeroflot Plus, the corporate aviation division of Russian national carrier Aeroflot Russian Airlines, by this summer. The new venture will operate from Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport under the name Jetalliance East, initially using a Cessna Citation CJ3 and Sovereign. The company will also retain theTupolevTu-134s and Yakovlev Yak-42s of Aeroflot-Plus on charter contracts within the Commonwealth of Independent States.
