Malaysian Airlines Launches Superjumbo Services

Malaysia airlines celebrated the launch of its first Airbus A380 nonstop service between Kuala Lumpur and London/Heathrow on July 3. It was flown by the carrier's first Superjumbo to be delivered, 9M-MN A (c 078) which has been painted in a special livery to mark the type's introduction. On board the inaugural flight was Malaysia Airlines' Group CEO, Ahmad Jauhari Yahya who was joined by other Malaysian dignitaries.
