A lot has changed in aviation. Covid-19 caused an unprecedented drop in passenger traffic. This is because the remedy for the virus (social isolation) is the antithesis of our industry whose raison d'etre is to bring the whole world closer together. The setbacks are causing many to question the viability of the whole industry. There is some logic to those gloomy prognosticators and we are entering a period of, possibly, paradigm shifts that will reshape the industry for some time to come. It is interesting to ponder which way the industry will go.
