Airlines joint venture training centre opened in Singapore in April is set to . become the largest Airbus facility of its type in the world, with the ability to train up to 10,000 pilots per year when its eight simulators are all on stream in 2019. The new Airbus Asia Training Centre (AATC), a joint venture owned 55 per cent by Airbus and 45 per cent by Singapore Airlines (SIA), will house three A350XWB simulators, one A380, two A330 and two A320 at Seletar Aerospace Park near Changi airport.
