ANSPs demand strategic plans to enable efficient evolution of the airspace and the infrastructure supporting it, maximising the use of available resources. From the ANSP's perspective, a CNS/ATM strategic plan or masterplan must ensure a needs-driven and economically justified evolution of the entire air navigation system.
