Family Days Celebrate African American Pioneers in Aviation on February 9 at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in northern Virginia, where members of the legendary World War II Tuskegee Airmen will be on hand to tell tales of life in the cockpit. Admission is free; the event runs from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., and will be repeated on February 23 at the Museum on the National Mall. On March 8, learn about the accomplishments of Bessie Cole-man, the Women Air Force Service Pilots, Sally Ride, and more at the Museum's Women in Aviation & Space Day at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.
