Tiara Air Expands With Boeing 737-300

Boeing 737-322 P4-TIE (c 24249, ex N189AQ) named Arawak is the first example for Arubian carrier Tiara Air, joining a trio of Shorts 360s in service. The airliner was handed over on February 14 and delivered from Opa Locka Airport in Florida to Aeropuerto Internacional Reina Beatrix (Queen Beatrix International Airport) in Oranjestad, Aruba, three days later. It is seen at Opa Locka on February 12. Tiara Air will use the airliner to expand its services to Colombia and Venezuela as well as introducing flights to the United States. A second Boeing 737-300 is expected to join the fleet later this year.
