London Odyssey

Plans for a new British airline, Odyssey Airlines, are being prepared. Odyssey Airlines hopes to begin operations from London City Airport to provide non-stop transatlantic flights to New York. The carrier will be a premium airline catering for travellers from each city's financial districts. It is believed that the commitment for ten Bombardier CSeries airliners placed by an unidentified European customer at last summer's Paris Airshow may be for Odyssey, although the manufacturer has not confirmed the identity of the customer. Previous all-business class premium operations have met with limited success, with Maxjet, Silverjet and EOS all going bankrupt.
