Initial KC-46A Bases Confirmed

US Air Force personnel will train on the Boeing KC-46A Pegasus tanker at Altus AFB in Oklahoma from 2016. The base is responsible for training crews for the Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker and Boeing C-17AGIobemaster Ⅲ. Initial active-duty KC-46As are scheduled to be delivered to McConnell AFB, Kansas, in 2016, with the first for the Air National Guard currently planned to go to Pease Air Guard Station in New Hampshire in 2018 (adding to Preferred KC-46A Bases Announced, July 2013, p17).
