UK Inches Towards Tranche 3 Typhoons

On may 14 the UK Government announced that it will sign the ministerial agreement on the third tranche of Eurofighter Typhoon production that was agreed by Germany, Italy and Spain on April 2. The agreement contains a statement of principles, including the need to achieve significant through-life savings, which will underpin the next stage of negotiations between the NATO Eurofighter Tornado Management Agency (NETMA), acting on behalf of the customers, and industry.
