Steve Fletcher

On January 25 we lost our friend and colleague Steve Fletcher in a tragic aircraft crash at Sebring, Florida. He was 44. The Remos GX in which Steve was travelling for a photoshoot on behalf of our sister publication Today's Pilot, crashed shortly after take-off. The pilot Mike Kostelac was seriously injured and is now in a stable condition in hospital.rnSteve joined Key Publishing in 1993 and with his disarming charm, wonderful sense of humour and ability to take superb photographs, rapidly became a close friend and invaluable member of the AIR International team.rnSteve carried out an amazingly diverse range of tasks for AIR International, from taking studio shots of books and models for our Flight Bag pages, through capturing airshow images, to the real love of his professional life - air-to-air photography- of which he was a master.
