The United States' Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) plans to buy a surplus Hercules C5 transport aircraft from the UK. The machine is urgently required to replace the US Navy's C-130T, BuNo 164763, that has long been in use as the support aircraft for the US Navy Flight Demonstration Team, the Blue Angels. The team's Hercules are traditionally known as Fat Albert.
