Product: Q-Sync Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Description: The motor's design uses permanent magnets in a synchronous motor topology with a controller that quickly gets the motor to its targeted speed and then efficiently shifts the motor to AC power (50 or 60 Hz) supplied directly from the grid. Its electronic controller needs only minimal electrical input once the motor is operating at full synchronous speed. By operating directly off the AC line frequency, the stability and performance of airflow in the refrigeration system is further improved as this keeps fan speed consistent even when incoming voltage fluctuates or load changes. The motor is available in a one-size-fits-all drop-in assembly that is suited for new equipment and retrofit applications where improved power efficiency, motor reliability, and consistent airflow are required.
