Vaccines are vital to today's society and its approach to human health, especially in light of the recent Ebola outbreak. Thousands of people died last year as a result of the Ebola virus. The constant intellectual property debate may delay research and development in the vaccine industry, resulting in the delay of vaccine distribution to those who need them. The production and distribution of an Ebola vaccine would drastically lessen the spread of the disease and save countless lives.
