Tunisia set to question Tahar Latrous and Maersk execs in exchange controls probe

Shipping giant Maersk's Tunisian branch and its client Tahar Latrous, the owner of Industries Mecaniques du Maghreb (IMM), are facing a legal storm. According to our sources in Tunis, tax evasion investigators, who since 2018 have been looking into whether foreign currency was illegally taken out of the country, are preparing to interview as witnesses several executives - current and past - of the Danish group.
