Princess Lalla Asmae soon to be queen of private universities thanks to Yamed Capital

King Mohammed VI's sister, Princess Lalla Asmae, is working to expand her foothold in the flourishing private education sector via her partnership with Yamed Capital. This real estate developer owned by the French De Ménibus family has become one of the royal family's trusted allies. Yamed Education 01, founded in 2017 to invest in university campuses and student accommodation, is about to go into overdrive. The company share capital of 300,000 dirhams was raised to 207.3m dirhams at its extraordinary general meeting on 5 October.
