EGNOS goes to work

Pau Pyrenees Airport in southern France has become the first airport in Europe to begin using the new European Geostrationary Navigation Overlay System (EGNOS) Safety-of-Life Service satellite-based navigation precision approach system. Clermont-Ferrard airport will be next to start using EGNOS, followed by Marseilles.
