Rebuilt Yak-3 replica flies again in France

On July 31 At Dijon-Darois aiport in north-eastern France, Yakovlev Yak-3 replica F-AZLY made its first post-rebuild flight in the hands of Bruno Ducreux, founder of Aero Restoration Services (ARS). After vibration was encountered the spinner was rebalanced and a few adjustments made to the trim-tabs before the aircraft made two more flights on August 4. The Allison V-1710-powered fighter will soon fly to its new base at an airfield in Yvetot, near Rouen.
