French flying-boat replica to fly

A French restoration company, Les Retro Planes d'Argenteuil, continues to make progress with its 15-year recreation of a Donnet-Leveque Type C flying-boat. Just like the original, the replica will be equipped with an authentic Le Rhone engine delivering 80hp (60kW). The restoration of this powerplant is running alongside that of the airframe.
