The Bentwaters Cold War Museum in Suffolk took delivery of Hawker Hunter GA.11XE707 in early July, thanks to a donation made by Bentwaters Aviation Society member Brian Smee. Originally delivered to the RAF as an F.4 on September 1,1955, it was converted to GA.11 configuration in 1961 for the Royal Navy. It was finally retired in April 1994. In 1995 it was registered as G-BVYH and sold in the USA, where it flew as N707XE until imported back into the UK in 2005 and sold for spares.
