Attempts to fly the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry's (MOSI) Roe Triplane replica G-CFTF came to naught at RAF Woodvale on October 26, 2009, pilot Judy Leden failing to persuade the 11 h.p.JAP-engined machine into the air on two attempts. The aircraft had been constructed over the past three years by the Roe Heritage Group at Woodford, replicating the original design as closely as possible.
