The RAF Transport Command Memorial's Dakota Ⅲ KG651/ G-AMHJ was moved from North Weald to the World War Two RAF Bomber Command base at Metheringham, 10 miles north of Sleaford, Lincolnshire, on 17-18 November. It will now become a major attraction at the Metheringham Airfield Visitors Centre. The machine was prepared for the trip by Mark Edwards and his team from Airventure, the move being undertaken by Lincoln-based Denby Transport in the challenging conditions provided by Barney, the second of the Met Office's newly-monikered storms.
