Key predistribution schemes (KPSs) for distributed sensor networks (DSNs) have attracted more attention recently. In this paper, we propose a new KPS based on mixed-level orthogonal arrays, which enable sensor nodes to communicate securely with each other. The secure connectivity and resilience of the resulting sensor networks are studied. For the same number of sensor nodes, there may be several choices for the parameters. Then we may obtain different schemes and this makes the construction method more flexible. The KPS constructed in this paper has some advantages over some existing ones.
