Application of p-ω mixing in CP violating B-decays

We show how p-ω mixing can be exploited to constrain the strong phase difference between tree and penguin contributions to the decays B±→π+π- p± and to enhance the CP violation. The resulting CP viola- Tion is greater than 20/100 and very stable against theoretical uncertainties. Moreover, it should be possible to extract the sign of the CKM angle, a, Unambiguously.
