A Brief Review of Features Proposed for the Next Revision of the Fortran Standard after Fortran 2003

This article describes the list of features so far proposed for the next revision of the Fortran standard after Fortran 2003. This revision is supposed to be a minor revision, so not too many new features will be added. As of this writing, Fortran 2003 is scheduled to have one last yea-or-nay vote before (hopefully) being sent to ISO for final processing. Those who wish to make last minute comments should download a copy of the Draft International Standard from J3 's web site, or WG5's.
