The Verband der Hochschullehrer fuer Betriebswirtschaft (VHB) "is the German Academic Association for Business Research and pursues the development of business administration as an academic discipline at universities" (VHB, English language website). This book provides an overview of the history of the VHB from its foundation in 1921 until the end of the 20th century. It also provides a history of the discipline which the association represents.
