The chairman of Business in the Community Cares has won this year's ICAEW Outstanding Achievement Award. Sean Mahon, a former partner in Pricewaterhouse-Coopers and retired chief executive of Catties, the Yorkshire-based FTSE 250 company, was chosen both for his'significant' contribution to regional business life and for his long-standing commitment to helping disadvantaged groups in Yorkshire (see also this issue, p109).
