ICAEW chief executive Michael Izza has called for the accountancy profession to put sustainability at the heart of its business. Speaking at IFAC's G-20 summit in London, he said that it had to become a boardroom issue.rnThe environment and society are the resource base of our economic prosperity,' said Izza. 'Without them all economic activity will ultimately be destroyed.'rn'We have to completely rethink the way we do business and rework our strategies, rather than try to adapt existing business models.'
