Tax specialist Francesca Lagerberg has been promoted to head of tax at Grant Thornton, a move that sees her replace Rob Withecombe.rnLagerberg has been on the tax scene for many years, having qualified as a chartered accountant in 1993. She has written for publications including Taxation magazine and Accountancy magazine.rnShe has previously held roles at the ICAEW and Smith & Williamson and is the former chairman of the Institute's Tax Faculty. She now chairs its technical committee and sits on the council of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.rnWithecombe leaves the firm at the end of June to join Barclays Wealth.
