SALZBERG ELECTED DELOITTE GLOBAL CEO

Barry Salzberg has been elected to the position of global chief executive of network Deloitte from 1 June 2011. He takes over from Jim Quigley, who will move to a client service role as a senior partner in the Deloitte US firm. Salzberg, 57, has been CEO of Deloitte LLP in the US since 2007. His previous roles include managing partner of Deloitte US's tax practice.
