Relationships of major cannabinoids. Cannabidiol acid (CBDA) and Tetrahydrocannabinol acid (THCA) are synthesized from Cannabigerolic acid (CBGA) by enzymatic reaction. These acidic molecules are changed to the more commonly known forms by decarboxylation, usually by applying heat
