Anemia is a global public health problem affecting both developing anddeveloped countries. It is associated with increased morbidity and mortalityin pregnant women and children. Nevertheless, information regarding theprevalence of anemia and associated factors among pregnant in the study areais limited. Therefore, this study was aimed to assess the prevalence ofanemia and associated factors among pregnant women attending antenatal careclinic in Adare General Hospital, Southern Ethiopia.
