I read the title and I immediately knew what this was about. As an anesthesiology resident at Hospital Italiano in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from 1989 to 1990, I had often been at the recipient side of transplants whether for kidney, heart, or liver and had never thought (nor even been taught) how to provide anesthesia to the dead.
