The dissolution of nuclear membrane permits proper blending of cytoplasmic and nuclear content, which results in studding the chromatin fibres with cytoplasmic granular proteins within the intact plasma membrane, which finally disrupts to release the 3D web-like fibrous structure called extracellular trap
