Reactivity and increased proliferation of NG2 cells following central nervous system infection with Theiler’s murine encephalomyelitis virus

Intracranial injection of Theiler’s murine encephalomyelitis virus (TMEV) leads to acute behavioral seizures. a Cumulatively, 93.75% of the TMEV-infected animals exhibited at least one stage 3 or greater seizure during the twice daily (AM and PM) observation periods.
