Since its introduction, reverse shoulder arthroplasty (RSA) has been shown to reproducibly improve pain, function, and patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) in patients undergoing surgery for rotator cuff tear arthropathy and rotator cuff deficiency [2]. With the success of RSA, the volume of the procedure has increased [3, 7], with continued rises expected in the coming decades, and the indications for the procedure have expanded.
