Differences in Glucose Levels Between Left and RightArm

Thirteen continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems exist in the market for patientswith type 1 and 2 diabetes. As of June 2017, over 40 000 reports were filed with the FDAindicating inaccuracies with blood glucose levels using CGM systems. CGM devices measure interstitial glucose values and need to be validated againstlaboratory reference glucose analyzers for accuracy. However, whether differences inblood glucose exist between different areas of the body needs further exploration.
