AimsImplantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs) reduce sudden cardiac death in selected patients but inappropriate ICD shocks have been associated with increased mortality. The THORN registry aims to describe the rate of inappropriate ventricular arrhythmia diagnoses and therapies in patients followed by remote monitoring, as well as the following delay to next patient contact (DNPC).
