BackgroundIdentification and analysis of recurrent combinatorial patterns of multiple chromatin modifications provide invaluable information for understanding epigenetic regulations. Furthermore, as more data becomes available, it is computationally expensive and unnecessary to study combinatorial patterns of all modifications.
