摘要

The fine structure of brain capillaries was investigated during experimentally induced damage to the blood-brain barrier. After the administration of either nickel chloride or mercuric chloride the permeability of brain capillaries increased considerably. Production of coated vesicles accompanying the enhanced macromolecular transport was observed in the brain capillaries. The appearance of coated vesicles in the blood vessels of the brain is discussed.
