江苏省自然资源匮乏，人口密度大，然而，却是经济大省，其经济结构、经济增长速度与经济增长方式都较其他省分有优势，显而易见，江苏省具有科技优势。江苏省的科技优势得益于长期重视科技社团的发展，重视科技人才的培养，充分发挥了科技社团在科普教育、提高全民的科学素质、广泛开展学术交流、激发创造活力，推进自主创新等方面的重要作用。政府对科技社团要加强领导，细化管理，不采取“一刀切”的政策，对弱势科技社团加大扶持力度，对强势科技社团“三脱钩”，推向市场去发展。从宏观看，江苏省的科技社团发展得比较好，能充分发挥知识密集、人才荟萃的优势，坚持为经济社会发展服务，为提高全民科学素质服务，为科技工作者服务的定位，因此为江苏省经济社会又快又好发展做出了应有的贡献。%Jiangsu province is a major economic province with the lack of natural resources and high population density, its economic structure, economic growth rate and economic growth mode have an advantage over other provinces, obviously, Jiangsu province has a technology advantage.
