In recent years, the trend of Taihu Lake eutrophication is not going well and the cyanobacteria blooms occurs frequently. Taihu Basin Authority builds the Taihu Lake monitoring system integrated with water quality online monitoring, real-time video monitoring, satellite remote-sensing monitoring and artificial survey. The system realizes a comprehensive, multi channel and three-dimensional integrated Taihu Lake cyanobacteria blooms monitoring function, which integrates point monitoring of water quality, video monitoring along shoreline and area monitoring by satellite.
