The New Austrian Tunneling Method is applied in the excavation of No. 1 and 2 diveision tunnels of Bailianhe Pumped-storage Power Station. By adopting appropriate construction methods and scientific construction organization and management, the construction progress and quality of diversion tunnels are ensured, and the adverse geological sections are quickly and safely passed through.
