Chinese region is broad, in order not to make living space is limited, the role of transport is crucial, and the bridge is very important elements in the traffic system. Different from other genres of ancient architecture, bridge has a wider range of sociality, is a kind of public building built according to the production and life of human being's requirements, the ancient bridge technology in China for a long time to maintain the lea-ding level. This paper emphatical y analyzes from the cultural significance behind bridge.%由于中国地域广阔，为了不使生活空间受到限制，交通的作用至关重要，而桥梁是交通系统中非常重要的元素。不同于其他古代建筑类型，桥梁具有更广泛的社会性，是根据人类生产与生活的要求而建的一种公共建筑。我国古代的多种桥梁技术很长时间内都保持着世界最领先的水平，本文着重从桥梁背后所蕴含的文化意义进行了简析。
