"Theres Only One Chinese Nation"was an important theory advanced by Gu Jiegang during the Anti-Japanese War. Available information indicates that Mr. Gu came up with the theory for he was somewhat inspired by Liang Qichaos arguments about nations and, more importantly, for he combined his research into ancient classics with fieldwork, enabling him to propose a theory based on both history and investigations.
