Teaching material is the carrier of teaching content, It is directly related to the quality of teaching. This study analyzed the change university English teaching material of five generations since 1961. Try to suggest domestic English experts and scholars to write out a set of teaching material suitable for students of three colleges and universities teaching that make the English learning is no longer be terrified. To establish English learning confidence, so as to achieve a good English learning effect.%教材是教学内容的载体,其优劣直接关系到教学效果的好坏。本研究分析了从1961年至今五代大学英语教材的变化。试图建议国内英语专家及学者能够编写出一套适合三本院校学生的教材,使其对英语学习不再望而生畏,建立英语学习的自信心,从而达到良好的英语学习效果。
